I love this bag! It's huge, 1400cu in.! I took it boarding this weekend and had no problem collapsing it down flat enough to be able to ride the lifts safely with it on even with the bladder filled and a few light clothing items in the compartment. Off the slopes, I've used this as a gym bag, putting my shoes in the open-air compartment. I've also used it when biking to the grocery store to do some light shopping. I can hold a 1/2 gallon jug of milk and a few other small items.
Two cons... The water tastes a little funny. The water in my other camelbak is fine. I'm not sure why this one tastes funny. Also, you cannot remove the waist straps.

I've been a Camelbak customer on numerous occasions and I've never had any significant problems (except for the normal wear and such) and this wasn't the exception. I was looking a pack where I could fit my unicycle, and everything else I use when I go riding. And this is just perfect for that, I know its a skiing pack but its kinda hard to find uncycle bags out there :P so this one did the job perfectly. With all the straps up in front you can hold anything and everything you could ever want to carry (in my case my wheel) and it has good space inside to carry all your additionals. Plus the very nice size water bag.
The one thing I would've liked to know before purchasing were the dimensions, because I was looking for something to fit my 20" wheel, and I couldn't find it here, nor at camelbak.com nor at any other webpage. At the end I just bought it and it was a good fit. Still I would've liked to have that information at my disposition before I bought it.
All around a nice pack (like every other camelbak I've ever owned).

The Camelbak Hellion is exactly what I had anticipated, just a little bigger. I did not purchase this backpack with the specific intention of using it to carry a snowboard or skis. I am more of a hiking/snowshoeing type. I like the durability and expandability of this pack. not only does it offer generous interior space, additionally it offers a number of external expansion options. I also found that it did a good job of keeping small items where I could easily get to them, it has a pocket on the waist band, a water resistant PMP(Personal Music Player) pocket, and quick access to a large padded goggle pocket. The inside also has useful dividers and pockets.
There were a few things that I did not like, chief among which is the increased stiffness of the shoulder strap that houses the "Hydration Tube" The right shoulder strap is built to protect the mouth piece from the elements and keep it from freezing solid. It is effective but it causes that strap to be less fexible. The "Anti-Freeze" is accessed via a zipper that runs under the sternum strap requiring you to unbuckle the strap
to take a drink. These are however minor gripes, this is still a great pack.
Overall I found that this pack allowed me to comfortably carry more than enough for a long, cold day out. I Broke it in on the Curtis-Ornsby Trail up Slide Mountain (a 3/4 day hike on snow shoes) and it worked great.

I really can't believe this pack was only $80's! The quality is top knotch, no cheap materials and doesn't feel cheep at all. Plenty of utility configurations are possible w/ the Hellion. I plan to use it for hiking. I would recommend this to anyone.
