I love this bag! I have trouble with my neck and shoulder muscles due to a bad car accident a few years ago and it was recommended that I stop carrying a typical shoulder strap purse and to find one that I could sling across my body instead. This bag nailed it! It's not the typical purse but I'll never go back to a traditional one again. I really love how functional this bag is! It is compact and roomy all at the same time. It has lots of compartments with intelligent design to maximize on space inside a very compact bag. I can get everything in it that I need as well as staying organized. The pocket on the strap for a phone or ipod is nice added bonus. It's solidly constructed and sturdy. All in all, a very nice, high quality bag.

I'm using this for a Nikon SLR camera and a couple of lenses. It's perfect for events. If you're worried about padding, there's space to add it, but personally, my padded camera bag always ended up in a corner at events. This bag allows me to tote around a couple of extra lenses, flash, batteries, etc while using my camera. The only issue I have is that the strap is made for right handed people. It's made to wear across your left shoulder, but I wear it across my right - which means the little strap pocket is behind my back, and the buckle is in my side. As long as the strap isn't tight-this seems to work fine, and obviously won't be an issue at all for most people.

Having a carrier big enough to wag around a pool table is not always the ideal choice. This Osprey bag is small but extremely well made, light weight, and ideal for keeping your hands free while carrying about those few essential items you really want to have with you.
I discovered that this bag is perfect for carrying a Kindle DX. It is snug without pinching, so it carries my reader w/o allowing it to rattle about. At the same time, the bag is light enough that it does not overbear the things that it is carrying. It is very comfortable and convenient when I am walking downtown (3 miles each way) with an eye toward spending an evening listening to music and reading.

Has a 6 yro and bought this bag so I can carry some snack and a water bottle when we go out. Like the padded shoulder strap very much as I don't get shoulder ache anymore from carrying a sling bag. It also works well as a messenger bag as the hip straps help to secure the bag from moving about when cycling. I use it daily as a purse as it's so functional and helps me to get my stuff organized.

Osprey Resource Warp Shoulder Bag
I have to say that this is not the most fashionable bag, but I do love it! I use it daily as a purse, and have never been more organized. The cell phone holder in the strap is ingenious; I don't know why more companies don't copy the idea! Gone are the days of digging through my bag to find my cell. There is also another small pocket that is at the top of the bag, and I use that for my ipod classic. I do wish that this bag were a little bigger; if you carry a lot of stuff, you might try the Warp as it is a bit larger. All in all, I love the bag and didn't want to return it. If I had a magic wand and could change one thing it would be this: that the bag were offered in more colors. I've seen other bags by this company and they have a really nice green that I dig, but it wasn't an option for this particular bag. The structure and organization make up for the lack of color choices.
