Gave this to my brother who is a serious biker and he was THRILLED with it! Loved the way water is released in a different way than other bottles and loved that it's insulated! Great product and even better price!

PROs: It's so easy to squeeze. Important to me because I don't have large hands AND I don't feel the need to fight the water bottle while riding on my bike on the open road...which I do three or four times per week. And it's bpa-free!
CONs: It does NOT (as other reviews have stated) keep the fluids as cold as the Polar Insulated bottles. I own both and more.
IDEAL for: People with smaller hands (you know who you are...kids, ladies, mostly). People who exercise in climate controlled facilities or in the land of endless summer like parts of California (as an example). People who like to control the volume of fluids per squeeze they are getting...hence avoiding unfortunate choking situation or constant frustration over NOT enough per squeeze or a BATH each squeeze.
NOT-so-IDEAL for: People who LOVE ice cold beverages while exercising. People who ride their bikes in Arizona (as an example) OUTSIDE and during the SUMMER (speaking from experience).
I have used this bottle for recovery drinks as well and it cleans up very well (no sticky left behind).

I have been using two of these bottles for over two months (July, August, September). I always put as much ice as the bottle allows and the rest is water or some other liquid. My rides are usually between 2-4 hours.
So far, even after three hours the liquid is still on the cool side, never warm. If you want your water to be ice cold, then I sugguest that you carry a beach cooler on your back.
The point I'm trying to make is that when you are on a bike you don't want anything heavy or bulky. To me, this bottle meets its intended use, which is to keep liquids cool for a couple of hours.

The bottle works exactly as designed. It keeps liquids insulated, although we're not talking the same as keeping the bottle in the fridge or something. I haven't tried it outdoors yet (bought so I could have cold water at my desk), but judging by my use of it I would think it would be great on a ride or hike. The valve on this bottle is very cool, I don't think it's possible to spill liquid out of the bottle unless you launched the thing over a cliff or something. I would definitely recommend the product. (I knocked a star off of it because it takes more force to squeeze than a standard bike bottle, although that is understandable due to the insulation).

This bottle is fantastic, fill it up, throw a few ice cubes in and it stays cool throughout my entire ride. The spout can be left 'unlocked' without any leaking (even if the bottle is turned upside down) and is easy to squeeze water out of.
