Nice ballistic nylon bag, a lot of pockets. Back pocket as a place to conceal carry your pistol, can slip in and may not move around a lot since the nylon/bag is stiff; but I bought a holster/loop for extra $ that goes with this product and it uses velcro to bind to the inside of this bag, so you slip the pistol into this loop and it holds the pistol more securely.

The shoulder strap padding tends to move up and down, wish it could hold it more securely; FOUR **** stars for this

 "Fatboy does the job!" 2009-09-17

It carries all my electronic gadgets and the 9mm without the holster, although I don't know why it does not ship to APO address. I had to have it sent to my home address first, then had my wife ship it to the APO address.

"Great for a Kindle 2 - not ideal for concealed carry" 2009-08-28
By David Eizinger (Memphis, TN USA)
My primary need in a "man-purse" was room for my Kindle, the various other electronic doodads I carry and a few other pieces of hardware. I would have liked the option to use the bag for concealed carry, but it wasn't a requirement, as I prefer an IWB holster normally.

The Maxpedition Remora and Lunada both sport velcro-lined compartments to attach holsters...the Fatboy does not have this feature. My P7 fits fine (I suspect a fullsized 1911 would fit as well...but there is no way to control the attitude of the pistol...it just sits in the bottom of the compartment. The deciding factor for me was price...I bought the Fatboy used from a friend for half price...and am glad I did.

The Kindle 2 in a Belkin padded case fits perfectly in the main compartment with room to spare for a decent-sized notebook. The bigger side compartment holds chargers for both the K2 and my phone and the smaller side pocket holds a Leatherman. Other *stuff* occupies the remainder of the compartments. The phone pocket on the strap is nice, but does make it a bit difficult to grab the phone quickly. My little phone fits nicely, but I wonder if a Blackberry will fit.

The Fatboy is VERY well-made, rugged and just the right size for me. I expect to carry it for a long time.

 "get one." 2009-08-17

this bag is what I have been looking for. carry it everywhere. great for a camera, maybe not a SLR. it will fit if you take the lens off the body. I have a cannon powershot s5 and it fits perfect. nintendo ds+ games, extra memory cards, several mp3 players, sunglass case, sunscreen bug repellent, pocket knife, leaterman Supertool, small notepad, flashlight, usb flashdrives, flashlights. I just checked, my slr body does fit fine if you take the lens off, but not with it on. not as big as a backpack or a messenger bag, and a laptop wont fit in it, but ideal size for everyday used as well as great for hiking and travelling.

 "Almost Too Tough" 2009-07-28
By new reviewer (Scottsdale, AZ United States)
This is a very tough and versatile bag; perfectly designed for it's use. The fabric is almost too tough; wish it were a little more supple. I suppose it will become so in time, or I could run it through a few washing machine cycles.
