Can't add much to the other reviewers; I am very impressed with this item, though. The construction and quality are worth more than the actual price, the padding on the shoulder straps is superb! Access to compartments is reasonably easy; and the reason for the qualifier is that the maker has very thoughtfully covered openings and zippers with sturdy, secure nylon flaps to protect against water, trail dirt and dust, etc. The exterior webbing makes the pack easy to adapt to whatever task is facing you. Highly recommended.

I am an avid family camper and this pack fits 3 days worth of my clothes, shoes, and personal items perfectly! I have used duffel bags and other backpacks in the past and I didn't want a fancy hiking pack for just car camping. This pack is perfect for car camping. The shoulder straps are top notch, but the waist strap is a waste. Granted it is little more than a large school pack, but the main compartment is roomy and the outside pockets are excellent.
