"Awesome suitcase/backpack! Just perfect for traveling!" 2010-06-09
By Johnsons (Texas)
We bought two of these for our trip to Europe. They fit a great amount and were the perfect size. They were easy to carry if you didn't overpack and were perfect for planes. We always carried them on- even with RyanAir flights that have harsher restrictions. They held up awesome, had great straps that could be put away if you want to use it like a suitcase, and had lots of pockets. We thought they were awesome and will be using them lots more!

"Great bag for a 3 week trip to Europe!" 2010-02-27
By M. Thai (Silicon Valley)
We purchased this bag online after reading the reviews and comparing it to Rick Steve's Convertible Carry-On. This bag feels sturdier than Rick Steve's. Being a female, packing a lightweight bag (18 lbs) for a 3 week trip to France & Italy seemed daunting, but it was very do-able with the Weekender eTech Convertible. The multiple pockets enabled me to keep the smaller items organized such as receipts, maps, travel itineraries, etc. The bag functioned like a 22" carry-on, but much more flexible because it was a backpack. Because I am only 5 feet tall, my husband wore this backpack and I wore his much smaller one. The Weekender on my frame looked like a suitcase, but on my husband's 6 foot frame it looked like a regular backpack and enabled us to disguise it as such rather than a suitcase. The side buckles allowed us to further cinch the bag, condensing its size which was helpful in getting the bag into the overhead bins. We traveled via the Eurail system in Europe and for extra security, we used small locks to keep the zippers closed. This bag worked great for us since we were on the go between 6 different cities in 3 weeks. I highly recommend this bag to anyone who wants to travel lightly and for weeks at a time. It's also perfect for a couple who wants to get away for the weekend with only one bag!

"An excellent carry on bag" 2010-02-25
By Neil A. Merrell (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Weekender carried more than I anticipated when I opened the package. I had it packed full of clothes and assorted other small items for a 5 day trip and it held everything. It was comfortable to carry as a backpack over both shoulders. If you like to carry your backpack over just 1 shoulder, I found that uncomfortable. I think the biggest issue related to clothes for your trip is finding space for both shoes and clothes. That being said, I think it does everything it claims to and is a solid purchase.

After buying an E-Tech bag for myself and one for my daughter, my wife had to have one too. Rock solid quality, super fast shipping and a great price.

 "Great bag" 2010-01-31
By cassadine (Minnesota)
Very happy with this bag. It was nice to be able to throw it on my back and run when I was hurrying to make my connection. On the return trip, I had too much stuff to keep the dimensions within carry on limits so I had to check it. The stowaway straps worked out great for that. This is my new favorite bag.
