I recently purcahsed this backpack and am very excited about it. The first thing I did was to unpack it from delivery and 'quick-pack' it as if i were going on a trip then. It fit everything i could think of for a long weekend backpacking trip. I was very pleased. I then put it on and hiked around the neighborhood for about an hour...adjusting it as i went. I LOVE THIS BACKPACK. And cannot wait to properly field test it. Great bargin, great price.

This is a 75 liter pack, meaning it was supposedly built to carry a lot of gear. However, while it has two aluminum stay bar on either side of the back panel, it has no back frame sheet. Meaning if you really load this pack up with gear its basically going to collapse under the load, its not beefy enough to handle the weight. Save your money.

The biggest selling point is the opening on the front. Makes packing much easier. Packed for a 7 day cruise. Walked all over Boston for 8 hours with no problem. Nice it includes a rain cover as many do not. Only down side is there's no way to secure it. The zippers have cords instead of metal.

Pros: plenty of space -- traveled around Africa for 2 weeks and had plenty of room for a multitude of clothing (options for warmer and cooler climates) and room to bring home some souvenirs, not heavy at all, comfortable straps
Cons: zippers were hard to open, got stuck often

Cons: Zippers of poor quality and hard to open/close. One of my straps came off while tightening.
