This is a much better price than the other hydration packs that I was looking at. Like the previous reviewer said, the bag is almost alarmingly thin but holds up and hasn't popped yet even filling it to the top.
Also as the previous reviewer said, the bag comes smelling almost too toxic to put drinking water in. I followed some advice I found online and left it full with 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar (made sure to get some in the tube too) and that took pretty much all of that plasticy smell away. I'm sure that either with another soak or some repeated use the last of it will go away.
It should last as long as I don't fall on or overfill my pack while the bladder is full or get into fights with grizzly bears I guess.
One thing that's probably user error (I don't really know, this is the first pack I've bought) is that I assumed when the little switch at the bite valve said 'on' it meant 'go on and have a sip you crazy kid'
but I guess it actually meant something more like 'the thing that means you can't drink now is "on"'. So it took me like 10 minutes to figure out why I couldn't get a damn drink. Hahaha, I'm a doofus but not like it came with any instructions or any thing!

I've used this bag extensively over the summer for hydration and it hasn't failed me yet! It's skin is kind of thin which makes me cautious when holding it in certain ways, but I've banged it up several times and it holds strong. My only real problem with it is that you can't leave water in it for long. It doesn't leak, but the material it is made out of leaves a weak chemical taste in the water that may have given me a headache. This problem was solved by simply refilling it with fresh water and not drinking water that was in the bag. The tube it comes with is at least 2 feet long and again, served me well. Still haven't tried washing it in the dishwasher, but soap and water sloshed around in the bag seems to work just fine.
