"Good started for worried minds" 2010-02-12
By T.B.
I received this at work, and by the time I went to go and get it, there was a buzz in the office. Everyone was impressed with what was included for the price. The pack style makes it easy to store and move with. The bag material totally impressed me. It feels strudy and rugged, without beeing overly bulky.

Overall, this is a good starting base to work with. In my opinion, you will have to add a few items, just to be on the safe side. such as water treatment tablets, water proof container with matches, and a flint of some type.

I do have one suggestion for improvement. This unit is suppose to be able to attach to the "Life Gear LGLPK01 LifePack Personal Safety Pack". I found the bottom attachment staps to be a little less than ideal. I would of like to have seen clips of some kind, as this would have made the whole unit more sturdy.

 "must have!" 2010-02-12

Comes loaded with supplies to possibly keep you alive in a situation if you just add common sense. The backpack is of good quality and it has a myriad of compartments and for this I give it an A+. The rest of the goodies are a throw in. I custom fit my bag with help from other sites as the items contained are mere basic essentials. Great to have in your car and please note that the bag comes with a waterproof cover that you can slip over it to disguise it from those prying eyes. It was definitely a good buy and will buy another one.

 "JUST WHAT I NEEDED!" 2009-11-18
By Jason L. Orrino (Seattle, WA)
I LOOKED FOR SEVERAL OPTIONS FORTHESE BACKPACKS. THERE ARE SO MANY OUT THERE THESE DAYS. I LOOKED IN MANY STORES BUT THEY DIDN'T REALLY HAVE ANYTHING. I WAS LEARY TO BUY ONLINE BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WOULD GET SOME CHEAP STUFF. BUT AFTER MUCH RESEARCH I FOUND THE LIFE GEAR. IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED / NEEDED. AND THE BEST PRICE I FOUND WAS ON AMAZON!

 "Good survival kit" 2009-09-09
By EAGLE20000899
Hello.

I just got the survival kit and I was very

pleased with it. It was everything that was

advertised and the shipping was good too.

(I had next-day shipping)

I also got it with the "Life Essentials"

and the flashlight and I liked them also.

Thank you.

 "Good survivor backpack" 2009-04-24
By Cliff Kline (Goleta, CA)
I like most everything about this backpack - its bright noticeable color and its design One weakness is the zipper that holds two pieces together does not zip very well.

The survival gear that comes with it is adequate for a few days.

I would recommend getting some more gear, such as a radio and a charger for your cell phone.

I keep it in my car, so that either at home or at work it is available. Peace of mind.
