nice and compact. fits well in hiking backpack. not too bad for being able to be rolld into such a tight, compact roll. not very supportive but much better than nothing or than bringing large bulky pillow from home. i would reccomend if you prefer to pack light

I purchased an extra long sleeping bag as a Christmas present for my grandson who is going kayak tripping June 2010. I also purchased this small synthetic sleeping pillow to go with it. It is pretty small and one might want to fold it in half to get more of a pillow effect, but my grandson thought it was great. We were able to get the pillow into the waterproof duffel bag with the sleeping bag. I was pleased with the product.

The picture for this product shows a rectangular, plush-looking pillow. What is inside is a fairly flimsy SQUARE pillow. About the only nice thing I can say about this pillow is that it folds up into a nice tight bundle. Once you open it up, it becomes a very flat square pillow. Airing it out a while puffs it up a bit, but it's still a square. Skip this one.. it's not worth the price.
