I can't remember if I first saw this backpack in person or online but I loved it at first sight. I agonized a couple days over whether or not to get it as it is designed as a woman's backpack and accordingly has a decidedly feminine look. Well, I got it and have been using every day for a week. I love it. A few internal pockets for pens, cel phone, etc. Even a metal clip key keeper. Two inconspicuous external side pockets, one zippered the other not (perfect for a slender water bottle). The shoulder straps are a little hard to adjust but that's good because once adjusted they'll pretty much stay put. I love the little magnetic button closure of the main flap covering the drawstring opening--super cool! I originally saw this bag in a brown color called "chestnut" which I desperately wanted but which has apparently been discontinued (unavailable even on manufacturer's website) so I got it in "merlot". I wanted the darkest color available to hide dirt/stains. My first day using it I actually did spill a couple drops of coffee on it accidentally and you can't tell even if you look close. So the dark color was a good choice. Would be five stars but one star off because the manufacturer discontinued the color I really wanted! But it's a cute and great backpack. If they put a little mirror on the inside of the main flap it would be perfect. Also, if Sherpani reads this review--offer this little backpack in "urban black" and I'm sure it would really sell!

I'm a petite person with back & shoulder problems. I just need a small lightweight package that can fit my small laptop to commuute to work daily. I've ordered 2 other bags from diff companies before this one and had to returned to due size misleading.
This bag is my 3rd attempt and it works perfectly for me. The size information is correct. I also like the color, and it's very lightweight.
