I ordered the backpack to take to the parks in Orlando. It worked just fine. I did not think that the item would be a stiff, hard box inside of the soft casing. I was expecting it to be regular back pack material with the insulation fabric inside. It still worked, but it would not fit in the small lockers provided at the parks for some of the rides. Other than that issue, it worked really well; kept the items cold and did not leak.

This a a very versatile backpack/cooler. As picture, it can be used just as a small cooler. The straps come out (real bookbag straps) and unzip to add a top compartment to add chips, napkins, etc. Looks big enough for sandwiches and drinks along with an ice pack.

Not worth the money! The 2 pockets they talk about are so small, and the main pocket has the 2 liter bladder exposed, which could potentially break if you were to store thing in there. Please spend the extra money and get a decent one! You will more than likely be let down if you buy this product! The shipping took forever too! Boatersworld is a rip-off.

I'm not super familiar with hydration packs, so I don't have anything else to compare it to, but I like it. It has both chest and waist straps, which I like, and the tubing can be attached to either side. It also has zippered compartments for storing things, like your keys or cell phone. The pack itself is comfortable to wear, it sure beats carrying a water bottle in your hand when you're out hiking. Just make sure the hose is securely attached to the bag, the first time I used it it leaked all over my back, I thought it was defective, but no the hose was loose.

This is the best fitting backpack for my son that I've found so far. The bag fits snugly against his back for a proper fit and if it would last long enough... can be adjusted as he grows. Sturdy material, so I have hope this one will last longer than the last two that we've bought so far for this school year. The bag is big enough to hold folders, notebooks and a couple of books. There are also outside pockets for extras. Has a stylish appeal to it too. Overall a great buy and we are very pleased.

I bought 2 of these bags for a winter canoe trip. They will get used year around now. For the price and size of this bag there is not a better deal anywhere. They are heavy duty and durable. This is constructed of a heavier grade of material than even the seal line bags, but by the same virtue of heavier material it is also more difficult to get it to close with a 100% watertight seal. I would say that it is still very good though, as when you press on it hard, you can still hear a faint amount of air escaping (or burping) out, but not whooshing out. So if it were submersed underwater for any length of time it would probably let in a little bit of water, but I dont think it would let in very much. They are not rated for underwater submersion anyway. This is basically a bag for a recreational user, and will hold up very well to those uses. It is way better than a garbage bag or rain cover. This material feels very durable and should last a long time. I had enough room in 1 bag for my military surplus Extreme Cold Weather bag, an Intermediate Cold Weather Bag (both the older down fill styles), a fleece sleeping bag liner, my tent, an extra blanket, all sleep related clothing, and a few other odds and ends. This might not sound like a LOT, but believe me it was very bulky and this bag handled it great. The second bag had all of my clothes (about 7 layers of bulky insulated clothing per day), extra pac boots, and all the other little odds and ends for a camping trip. Should work great for the occasional tip over canoeing on rivers that we do (no whitewater stuff).

RECENTLY WENT BOATING ON VACATION. HAD AN ACCIDENT AND OUR STUFF WAS SUBMERGED. THIS BAG HELPED US SAVE OUR STUFF. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I ORDERED THE LARGEST ONE AND IT WAS ACTUALLY TOO LARGE FOR TWO ADULTS AND TWO DOGS, BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS STORE SEASONAL ITEMS IN IT. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT DIDN'T COME WITH STRAPS FOR THE LOOPS INCLUDED, SO IT COULD BE CARRIED ON ONE'S BACK LIKE A REGULAR DUFFLE. SOLVED THIS PROBLEM WITH A COUPLE OF OLD BELTS. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY IF YOU PURCHASE THIS ITEM.

I purchased this for a multi-day canoe trip. I also purchased a SealLine Boundary Pack 70 from another supplier. The SealLine was much more expensive, better constructed and had straps for backpacking when portaging. However, the Coleman was so inexpensive I took a chance and purchased it as an additional dry bag. It worked out great for our trip. We did not portage so the lack of backpacking straps did not matter. We also never dumped our canoes so it did not get wet. But I am confident that it would have stayed as dry as the SealLine bag. It is also quite a bit larger than the SealLine 70. Very nice dry bag for the price.
