I bought this bag because it weighs practically nothing, and can be rolled up and put into a larger bag. I use it mostly for day trips, where I might want to carry my jacket, a sandwich, and whatever I buy in the city. I've used it for a few months now, and it seems to be holding up okay, but do not expect a highly durable bag that will last you years and years. I feel that for the price, you can't really go wrong with this bag. It's fairly stylish, ,too.

This is a no-frills backpack. Only one main compartment, a fairly small zippered pocket on the front side, and a cell phone pouch on the shoulder strap.
The shoulder strap is easily adjustable in length through a clip-style fastener, and also decently padded.
The material appears to be sturdy enough to take some abuse, but there is no padding whatsoever in the main compartment. This makes the backpack very light and it also packs flat - which is exactly what I wanted. I use this backpack as a supplemental carrying case on my travels, when I only need to have a few things with me away from the hotel room (like on day trips, for meetings, etc). It goes into my main luggage and is only pulled out for those occasions.
I wouldn't necessarily put a computer or a DSLR camera with lenses in there - without padding, this would certainly invite disaster.
The main compartment is big enough to hold a 2.5" binder and some other stuff. The small pocket on the front is just big enough for an MP3 player and some pens - don't try to fit a soda can in there, though.
All summed up, this is a very usable backpack for me. If you look for something light, packable and simple, this fits the bill. Plus, the price is just unbeatable ...

overall i liked the bag. it was comfortable and held everything i needed. i purchased the bag for a trip to ireland. i wanted a bag that i could hide my cameras in so that i wouldn't look so much like a tourist. there wasn't any padding against my back and the strap kept slipping and coming unlatched. eventually i figured that if i clipped the strap slightly off center that it would pinch shut. problem fixed. it's totally worth it for the price.

The bag is quality, beyond the price, the front zipper and main zipper compartments are holding up well, the only thing is, from the beginning, the clamp that is used to adjust the shoulder strap is loose, if it gets to the end it catches, and if you press hard on it, it will stay in place, but this just seems like poor designing, otherwise a great backpack, very comfortable :).

I bought this bag for my toddler to take her lunch and folder to daycare, and also use as a diaper bag as needed. It is a bit large for her to wear (she is two), but certainly more manageable than a full-size bag. Perfect for holding the items it needs to hold, and her cup is easily accessible in either side or front pockets. We've been using this for a year and it is still in perfect shape.

First of all, contrary to all of the other reviews, this is definetly not a weekend backpack. I couldn't even get it to function properly from the get go! It came defective with an improperly tooled tension clip so the draw string on the pack's main body couldn't be closed. I also found that it has a bad overall support system because a moderate load was difficult to maintain on the least treacherous of terrains. It seems best suited as a sleeping bag storage unit to be left in your attic for future generations to wonder! The final dissatisfaction with this purchase came when the distributor has ignored my request for a refund. Learn from my mistake, do not buy this product!

Thanks for the speedy delivery and good condition of the item. only complaint is that when I opened the packaging, the smell was horrendous. It stunk up my entire room and even now, weeks later, it still has a slight unfavorable odor. however, I don't blame the seller, I blame the manufacturer.

This pack isn't bad for the price. Unfortunately though the phrase you get what you pay for applies completely, while I would not consider this a well made in anyway it can actually take a beating. With a full load this pack is a terribly uncomfortable ride, and the suspension is not that adjustable. The bottom line is that if you are just looking for a casual summer weekend outings this pack is perfect for the price, but if you want a product that is dependable for the long haul then one should definitely spend more on quality that will last.

great weekend pack. actually has more room than i was expecting. no problems encountered yet but for the price its pretty hard to beat. only negative is that i have pretty broad shoulders and its a little snug for my frame, but i expected that.

I purchased this backpack for my son's senior year in High School. He has used the same one (a Nike brand) for the previous 4 years very successfully but I thought that since he now carries a laptop that he should have something more geared to that, for protection.
He got less than 2 weeks of active use out of it before a strap completely broke off, and that's being fairly generous with the time line.
Horrible quality, will never purchase from them again.
Off to look for something that will actually last for at least a year of schooling.

This backpack has a bad design and convenient, but the top handle teared off in 2 days, and i did not put something heavier than a laptop and couple of cd cases, andd carried it no more than 100 metres.
Item was succesfully returned and get dell backpack instead.

This is a no frills backpack that does its job and then some. It's excellent for lugging around your heavy laptop, and also for lugging around all your other essentials. It's a no frills backpack, but it certainly makes commuting and traveling easy as pie. I love mine!

I bought this for my daughter to use at college for her laptop. The very first use was on the flight out to her school. The handle broke and so now it can only be carried by the straps. I bought this, planning on using it as a workout bag to take to the gym.. After putting my shoes in the bag, there really isnt much space left even for a shirt... This would be a good school bag, with all the extra pockets and all. Other than that the bag is made of good quality. But look elsewhere if you plan on carrying more than a armload of things.

This bag looks good but its kinda small( -1 star), both in fit and storage. Even with the strap fully extended it barely fits around me. Storage wise its good enough for carrying your phone/lunch to work - as for a full load of books or even sneakers/gym clothes, it would be a tight fit. But, for the looks and the price, you can make this work for you in some way
