this is a nice backppack for school/travelling. holds alot of stuff. i wish it came with a laptop compartment though

The fabric feels a bit cheap in places, but so far it's holding up very well. I like how the mesh side pocket holds my giant nalgene bottles! The front mesh pocket is a great place to store my umbrella just in case, and the cell phone pocket rocks. I would like for it to have more big compartments and the single organiser pocket doesn't really have enough room for all my stuff, but the excess room I get in the one huge compartment makes up for it. I can put my netbook, some notebooks, my pencil bag, and a textbook, and still have room for my tennis shoes! I got the green/grey/white backpack and it's really pretty. The shoulder straps are nice and padded; I've yet to have shoulder or back pain from this bag!

I bought this bag for a week-long trip to Brazil. Even after stuffing it tight and lugging it through security and the airports, the bus rides, and everything, it shows very little wear-and-tear. The back pocket is HUGE and held everything I needed, including a small blanket, a travel pillow, a change of clothes, and several books. I love the media pocket at the top--very convenient for money and my iPod. The front pocket has some convenient pockets for a flashlight, chapstick, that kind of thing, and room for paperwork or whatever I needed to keep handy. The front accessories pocket was great for napkins and wet wipes.
The bag is VERY comfortable to carry, even when stuffed tight, and I'm not at all a large person (5'3", 120 lb). I loved having the water bottle pocket on the side--big enough for my stainless steel water bottle plus a 2nd, small, disposable water bottle.
My one primary word of warning would be that this bag IS rather large--too big to fit under the seat in front of you on an airplane, or in the overhead bin of a bus. But the bag is high-quality, pretty, well-organized, and comfortable. Would definitely buy again!
