Overall, I'm very pleased with this duffel. I bought it to hold studio lighting equipment, so I was concerned about the main interior compartment. At 16"x18"x36" the X-Large version of this duffel is HUGE, but the main space loses quite a bit to the side pockets. The internal dimensions of the main compartment are 15.5"x15.5"x28.5". This works really well for my light stands. I build a box out of foam-board to fit inside with dividers to separate and protect my gear. The box also keep the duffel from collapsing when its picked up.
Again, this thing is HUGE. It barely fits in my trunk. But it is well made and should withstand quite a bit of abuse. You could probably fit enough gear in it to outfit an entire soccer team. I'm thinking about getting the medium size to keep in my car to hold all my vehicle emergency gear (chains, battery cables, emergency blanket, etc...) The duffel even comes packaged in its own bag that is big enough to hold my battery cables. Very nice... definitely recommend this duffel.

I use this bag to store 4 sleeping bags and 4 air mattresses on camping trips. It is very large and durable yet lightweight. The construction is sturdy. Great bag.

I bought this bag to put most of my misc. camping items in for storage and to take with us to go camping. When it arrived I took the thing out and this thing is HUGE. I did not expect it to be that big. That is a good thing actually. I only filled half the thing up with plates, pumps, propane canisters and other items and still have a ton of room to spare. The quality is decent as well.

I own the "large" size Mountain Duffle Bag. It's super lightweight, and made from 900 denier poly nylon so seems like a good value for the price. It comes inside of a small travel pouch that doubles as a mess or toiletry tote that would easily hold large shampoo bottles, etc. The duffle has a large "U" shaped top opening for easy packing, two large zippered end panel pockets, front side pocket, rip-grip carry handle, adjustable shoulder strap and two end straps. This duffel comes in small, medium, large and extra large, so be sure to pick the one that will work best for you. My "large" duffle is 30 inches long, 15 inches high and 15 inches deep.
