This product works great. I have not yet filled it to it's max but carrying 1.5 liters of water it is very comfortable. Also the two zipper compartments come in handy. One of the pouches even detaches so that you can attach it to your bike under the seat. I was very satisfied with my purchase, luckyly I didn't have any problems with the shipping.

This is my first CamelBak and I must say I'm very impressed by its quality and craftsmanship.
The CamelBak Velocity has a water reservoir with a generous 72-Ounce capacity, which translates to roughly 2 liters (the volume of a 2-liter bottle of pop/soda).
It has 3 pocket compartments. (1) The upper flap has a zippered pocket. It can easily hold a camera or a cell phone with plenty of room to spare. (2) The lower flap has a detachable zippered pocket that is slightly smaller, but it's big enough to hold a flashlight, a compact head lamp, or other smaller items such as pocket tissues and Power bars. This pocket can be removed and strapped on to the underside of a bike seat as a carryon. (3) Under the lower flap is a elastic u-shaped slip pocket that stretches across the entire width of the CamelBak. The sides are made with an elastic mesh material and will securely hold your hiking poles.
Despite this CamelBak's compact size, it has enough room to hold all of your hiking essentials. It's ideal for anyone wants to travel light and doesn't want to be weighed down by a bulky backpack. Although the shoulders straps have minimal padding on them, they are by no means uncomfortable because they are made of such a soft material. The CamelBak is attractive and the Charcoal/grey and black color scheme will complement any outdoor wear.

This CamelBak is, in sum, well-made, compact, and very practical. If you are looking for a compact Hydration Pack, I would definitely recommend this one.

I bought this for our youngest son. He uses it while riding a dirt bike. CamelBak quality is evident and worth the small difference in price. We have owned cheaper versions in the past, and the CamelBak is the way to go. $40 on Amazon and free shipping - Go for it!

Another winner from CamelBak. I've been in the Army for 7 years and love CamelBaks. Moving from canteens to CamelBak systems has been one of the best decisions the Army has made as it helps soldiers stay hydrated better than canteens. This model is great. It has pockets which allow you to easily carry cards, keys, etc. and has a nice color scheme. The reservoir is a bit smaller than I'd like, but not enough to prevent you from staying hydrated. The only downside is no cover for the straw, but you can easily pick up a new valve with a cover for $5 or so.

I ordered this from HRM USA and only received the reservoir and not the backpack. I called them up and finally was able to speak to someone. I am told that I will have the backpack shipped to me. I am annoyed that I will not have this in time for a hike I was planning to use it for.
The product is fine but it may be better to buy it somewhere else if you need it for a certain time or do not want the hassle of shipping issues.
