I love this back pack so much I bought one for my brother-in-law's puppy. I have a 60 pound labrador puppy and Cesar Milan recommends giving working dogs a "job". At first my dog did not like having it on her back, but once we get off on the trail, she forgets about it. She does walk well (no pulling) when she is wearing it. I load it evenly on each side with small frozen water bottles, and as they melt - I use them to give her water. Two things to be aware of - the belly strap will work its way loose on a long hike and will need to be readjusted. I am thinking of adding a snap to keep it tight, but am waiting until my puppy stops growing. The two side bags must be weighted equally so the pack does not pull to one side.

This product looks nice, and is a well known brand, but the "click here sizing chart" is for people, not dogs ! Without (canine) sizing information, it is hard to know what to order, especially for a mid-sized dog, who might fall into either the large or the small category. I hope someone will fix this silly listing error.
I apologize in advance for the fact that, strictly speaking, this is not a true product review. I will delete this review if the problem with this listing is fixed. I chose three stars in an effort not to bias the ratings any more than I can help, and even that will go away when I delete the review.

I like this backpack because it stays in position very well, has lots of space to pack our doggy supplies and is very sturdy.
