I bought this for my kindergartner. Although she is rather small in stature, and the backpack looks large on her, the straps alter a lot making it a good fit for her. I bought it to replace her previous smaller backpack. This new one is ideal and comfortably fits homework folder, library books, jacket and lunch box, etc. (all the things which young children tend to leave lying around, now she has no excuse since they all fit in readily). The additional smaller pockets are perfect for her to keep 'little treasures' safe. An all round excellent buy at a very reasonable price. I had looked at many other backpacks before purchasing this one, and feel that I definitely made the best choice for a younger child.

Though the backpack is a great size for a Kindergartener, and I probably shouldn't complain because of the cheap price, but the zipper is a bust. It keeps getting snagged and is at the point of almost breaking. We can only zip it one way (it has 2 zippers, but one way doesn't work now). I'm purchasing a backup backpack to have on hand for WHEN the zipper does break.

I have two daughters and they only used the bookbags for a summer for camp. All kids are rough with their items but these bookbags fell apart in such a short time. I usually buy them Jansport which will usually last throughout the year, but for camp I figured I'd get a cheaper bag since it was just for the summer. If you are looking for a bag that will last with your kids then this may not be the bag for them.

I got this bag for my niece and she loves it! It's her favorite color and small enough for her to wear without trouble. This is very practical for kindergarten or preschool age kids and it's affordable! It has one big main compartment and a smaller one on the front so there's plenty of space for her school supplies. I ordered this bag for my step-daughter as she started kindergarten and it was like Christmas Morning when she saw it. She absolutely loved everything about it. It fit her like a glove! It's been a while now since she got this bag and she treats it like her purse. She takes it everywhere with her and even camping with her dad. It's been such a great buy that I purchased two blue ones for my nephew. My step-daughter will want to take this to grade school when the time comes!
