I ski three to four times a week. This is the best ski backpack I have ever had. It carries everything I need on the hill. Very well organized pack that is easy to use. I only gave it four stars since one of the boot buckels broke on the first day of use. I called the company and they sent me a new buckel the next day, good service.

This is a perfect pack. Well, almost perfect. It should get a six on this scale if it had padded hip straps. Without them it is only a four star item.
Everything that you would need in a ski backpack is there. The only pack that I found, so far, that comfortably allows to strap the boots on the outside of the pack (others will allow you to keep the boots outside but you need to sling them over the pack or secure them by boot's velcro straps which either way makes them dangle dangerously around and ocassionally -- if you are not careful, or turn too rapidly, or both -- hit your kid, or other kid that happens to be too close to you, right on the nose. the other solution with other packs is to put your boots inside the pack which, in my humble opinion, is insane -- all the mud, dirt, and snow mingle joyfully with your spare clothes, gloves and ski mask).
The mesh front pocket will hold your helmet firmly, you can put your parka and ski pants under the main compatment cover, and inside there is enough room to keep your two year old snug and comfy.
The only drawback (again, in my humble opinion) is the lack of padded (meaning reinforced, not flimsy, close-to-nothing ones) hip straps: essential when you want to do some serious hiking before you ski down the slippery slopes, or when you decide that you had enough of hauling your kids' gear and want them to do the hauling themselves -- hip straps would save their backs and allow them to haul the gear for that little bit longer before thay would tell you that it is your turn now.

This pack works great. There is plenty of room for your helmet as well as anything else you want to cary along. It has a pouch for your camelback as well as clips for the tube. this pack will do what ever you want it to do. The only down fall to this pack is the absence of a waist strap. Otherwise it is confortable to cary and very handy.
