We took these chairs on vacation with us and they were great! I loved having the covering in the hot sun. They were very easy to unfold. Carrying them like a backpack was nice since we had so much to lug down to the beach everyday. I would definitly recommend these chairs.

I like the chair but there are couple of concerns.

The chair is heavier that I thought it would be and some of the stitching is already starting to pull away.

I spent over $ 50.00 for this item and I am disappointed.

I love my chair! Great for swim meets or for the swimming pool where you sit in the sun for many hours. The chair is comfortable and low to the ground. The canopy is easy to set up, you just lift it from behind the chair. The chair will not fall over in the wind. The arm rests are metal, so they get hot in the sun. I cover them with a towel to avoid that problem. To me, not having wooden arm rests is an advantage: I can let it stand in the rain and not have to put it away until the rain stops. A cup holder would be nice, but it doesn't have one. All in all, I am very happy with the chair.

Although this RECLINER is a bit heavy to carry long distances, I am very happy with my purchase overall. It is well built and easy to operate. Note: This is not a chair for those that like to sit upright! The manual ratchet system has various slots for reclining positions only.

We used these at kid's sports practices and games, a couple times a week. Great concept. Got lots of compliments and they are great for a drizzle or very light rain as well as shade. They lasted less than a year though. The stitching on the carry handles has come completely off, and the plastic pockets that holds the frame in place on the canopy have disintigrated so that when you try to carry it, the chair slips out of the folded canopy.

We purchased these for the beach and are fairly impressed with the look, construction and function. They are comfortable for me at 6'-3" but they're a bit big (tall)for my wife at 5'-2" She has to work hers down into the sand. the drink pouch is very handy and the overhead compartment is too but it's small. It's large enough for a book plus a watch, wallet, glasses etc. The canopy is large and pulls up easily for me while I am sitting in the chair. It folds easily and the canopy wraps around the chair when you stow it. The only drawback is the overall weight and bulk. It's hard for my wife to carry it. I would recommend it with 4.5 stars if I could. We got it in red. It's a muted red heading for the pink side but I still like the color.
